Now let us talk about some standard requirements on the hotel seating's fabric .

MUST BE OF CONTRACT QUALITY AND SUITABLE FOR COMMERCIAL USE. FABRICATION TO 

BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FF&E PREAMBLES AND AS FOLLOWS

• FINISH: Fabric must be treated commercially for soil and stain repellency.

• BACKING: Fabric backing and lining as required and as recommended by fabric supplier.

• REFERENCE: Refer to attached image. Color (where applicable) is only indicative and may 

vary according to printing/scanning method.

• QUANTITY: Must be verified by fabricator. 

• Quality: Manufacturer to ensure that fabric meets the Wyzenbeck test for 30,000 double rubs 

or equivalent.

• All fabrics to be dimensionally stable. Fabric must be first run goods from full bolt. Printing, 

dyeing and finishing methods should be appropriate for use of fabric. Fabric should be pre-shrunk, 

non-fading and non-crocking.

• Fabric must be mildew resistant and appropriate for use in tropical climate and high humidity.

• Fabric to be steadfast dyed to withstand high exposure to sun in humid and hot climate. 

• Provide dye lot sample for review by Designer prior to cutting and shipping fabric.

• Fire Hazard Classification: Fabric to be compliant with British Standard Institute Fire Code 

BS5852 Part 2 Section 5 and BS7176.

• This fabric to be used for: sofa bed @ guestrooms. Manufacturer to advise designer if there 

are any problems with specifying this product for the intended use.

• Notice: Item may be protected under manufacturer‘s copyright; designer is not responsible if 

not purchased from specified source.

• Certificates: Manufacturer to provide the following certificates:

• Flammability Certificate. 

• Technical Specification Data Sheet.
